Attend the Seattle March for Truth with Us This Saturday, June 3!

March with us in Seattle this Saturday! As one of 135+ marches around the country, the Seattle #MarchForTruth will demand the truth on Russian interference in the election and ties to Trump and his administration.

The demands are simple:

  • An independent commission must be established and Congressional investigations should be properly resourced and pursued free of partisan interests;
  • As much information should be made available to the public as possible, and as soon as possible;
  • Congress should require Donald Trump to release his tax returns to clarify his business interests and obligations to any foreign entity;
  • If crimes were committed or if collusion is discovered, it must be prosecuted.

Many of us at Indivisible Tacoma were inspired by attending the Women’s March. This is another chance to come together for nationwide, positive action.

“Women’s March organizers in states across the nation are working alongside local chapters of the March For Truth to make sure that June 3rd is a call for all Americans to come together as one and march to protect the very foundation of our democracy.”
-Bob Bland of the Women’s March.

To attend the Seattle march with us, meet us at the Tacoma Dome Station at 8:15am on Saturday, June 3.

We’ll take the Sound Transit express bus 594 departing at 8:28am. We’ll then walk 0.7 miles to Cal Anderson Park, where the march starts. Return route TBA from end of march near Seattle Center. Bring your sign, water, snacks, and wear your Indivisible Tacoma gear!

Don’t forget $3.75 bus fare each way or your ORCA Card/Pass.

Please RSVP here. See you soon!

We’ll have a white board to tally up all the calls and emails we’ve made to our elected representatives. See if you can squeeze in some calls before Wednesday, so you have a few to add to our total! Please see here for who to call and what to say.
