Friday, June 12
Black Lives Matter Seattle King County is calling for a statewide general strike, protest march, and day of action in support of all Black lives in Washington State on Friday, June 12th.
Supporting the dismantling of anti-black systems and policies of oppression is fundamental to the kind of social justice which is at the heart of Indivisible Tacoma‘s core values. Our place is with our communities of color who for centuries have suffered at the hands of structural racism and white supremacy.

For those not participating in the physical March, Friday will be a day of actions.
Instead of your usual Friday activities, do one or more of the following:

  • Donate to: Black Lives Matter Seattle-King County
  • Mask up and wave signs on busy arterials, physically distancing
  • Contact a local official to urge anti-racist police training and body camera implementation
  • Make art – sign, banner for marchers or your porch
