Indivisible Tacoma has the great honor of presenting WA Supreme Court Justice Mary Yu, with Patty Lally and Cynthia Delostrinos.

Racial bias often harms people directly and lastingly through our court system.

We want to learn how this harm can be eliminated!

Justice Yu serves as co-chair of the state Minority and Justice Commission.

She will explain a new effort to transform the judicial branch regarding race: the Racial Justice Consortium.

The Consortium intends to look honestly at all levels of judges, clerks, court administrators, and community members directly impacted by the justice system, identifying specific areas in need of change, and to produce an action plan.

Justice Yu will be joined on panel by Patty Lally, Racial Equity Practitioner and Coordinator of the Racial Justice Consortium, and Cynthia Delostrinos, Administrative Manager for the Supreme Court Commissions.
