Indivisible Tacoma’s Legislative Action Team will meet with the Senator’s staff to hear her perspective on what is happening with the US Senate. What can happen with a possible Democratic majority, and what are Sen. Cantwell’s priorities?Before the end of 2022 and the US House taking a Republican majority, we hope to see Congress lift the debt ceiling and strengthen the Electoral Count Act.

We’ll discuss our 2023 priorities, such as defending and expanding Social Security (take off the CAP,) halting Medicare privatization, and passing the Disclose Act to address dark money.

Now more than ever, we have to stay informed and speak up. Please join us!

The Legislative Action Team’s primary role is to meet with our Members of Congress or their staff, as well as our WA State Legislators and others who represent us locally.
