When: Thursday, August 20 at 4:00 p.m.

Where: At the Lakewood Post Office – Near the corner of Bridgeport and 100th (extremely busy intersection with a large parking lot and plenty of sidewalk to spread out on.) Wear masks and Indivisible T-shirts if you have them. Bring signs and we will have some extras. You will also be able to hold signs from your car if that is more comfortable.

This is to be a non-partisan event – Republicans and Democrats are equally affected by a slowed down postal system.

You are all so creative, but if you need it, some ideas for signs are:

  • Save Our Postal System – #1 Employer of Veterans

  • Tell Congress to Get Back to DC and Fund the USPS!

  • Small Businesses and Senior Citizens Rely on the Post Office

  • Contact the Postmaster General and Tell Him to STOP!!

  • Call for the Removal of the Post Master General NOW!

  • Support the USPS and postal workers

  • Protect your mail services and your ballot

  • Don’t mess with postal workers

  • Stop slowing my mail delivery

  • Sending a message: stop messing with the USPS

  • We the people are sending a message:  Protect our deliveries, protect our vote!
