Much attention is paid to the presidential election, but these county positions will affect our daily lives most directly. Despite Executive vetoes, the County Council, with a Democratic majority, has made progress:

  • Behavioral health
  • Affordable housing
  • Worker safety
  • Aquifers and tree canopy
  • Upgraded parks
  • Health Department

Wherever you live in Pierce County – Dupont, Eatonville, Tacoma, Lakewood, or Puyallup –  – this is your charge! The Republican Party is shoveling money into these electoral contests with little regard for the public good.

Here are the candidates who align with Indivisible values. Do all you can to help them get elected.

  • Canvass – this is, by far, the most effective method of getting votes!
  • Donate
  • Place yard signs
  • Talk 6 friends into voting all the way down the ballot, volunteering, or telling their 6 friends!

Indivisible Tacoma is focusing on Jani Hitchen’s Re-Election because it is crucial to maintain the Democratic majority that has been so effective since 2020.  Jani’s election (along with Ryan Mello’s) is a MUST DO and will benefit the entire county!
