Join Indivisible Tacoma as we meet with the Senator’s staff to hear her perspectives on what is happening now in the US Senate. What can be achieved with the slim Democratic majority, and what are Sen. Cantwell’s priorities?

We will express our deep concern about accelerating Medicare privatization and other profit-over-patients trends.

More topics: the debt ceiling, expanding Social Security (take off the CAP,) corporate pressure against environmental protections, and our hope for gun safety, just policing, and reproductive rights policies at the national level.

The Legislative Action Team’s primary role is to meet with our Members of Congress or their staff, as well as our WA State Legislators and others who represent us locally.
